Load

The load page is used to scan items, consignments or manifests that are being loaded for delivery.

Item Scanning

1. On TransVirtual mobile app main page, tap on the Load button, the load screen will appear as shown below.

 

2. On Load screen, either manually enter the barcode number or can scan the barcode by tap on the camera icon, once you done this, the load screen will display the consignment as shown above.
Make sure that the Barcode appears within the visible screen area.
If there are more items that needs to be scanned, then make sure you scan all the items until the tick will turn green as shown below.

 
                                                                                                                                          

3. Once all the consignments/items have been scanned, then Leave Depot button will be enabled, if needed you can select Leave Depot.

Assignments

1. Consignments which are assigned via the web portal will appear in the load screen Un-Ticked, these will need to be scanned or manually ticked the checkbox to flow through to delivery as shown below.

                                                                                                           

Consignment Level

1. When scanning the consignment number to load the device these will appear as highlighted below without Item information.

 

Barcode Scanner

1. You can activate the camera by tap on the Barcode Scanner icon to scan the barcode. If required, then you can go back to main load screen by tap on the Back button as shown below.

                                                        
You can zoom the camera till 10 times by tap on the Plus and Minus Icon as shown above.
Plus Icon (+) helps to Zoom In and Minus (-) will Zoom Out.
You can access the menu from load screen. To access menu then tap on the menu icon (), you will then see the below options.

   

Clear Unselected: Clears any consignments from the load screen which are unselected. 
Create Manifest: With this feature helps you to create a General Manifest of the consignments currently in the load page and subsequently remove these from this device.
List Order: This feature helps you to change the delivery/display order of your consignment, this process is also known as Sorting.

General Manifest

1. To create a general manifest, go to the Load page of your mobile application and scan and load freight as you normally would do, and then tap on the Menu Icon located at top-right.
2. To create a general manifest, tap on the Create Manifest as shown below as shown below.
 

3. A confirmation Pop-up will come to create a general Manifest, tap on Yes to confirm.
4. Once you tap on Yes, a confirmation Pop-up along with Manifest number will appear state that Manifest has been created as shown above. 

List Order (Sorting)

1. In TransVirtual, you have also a provision to change the load order of your consignment, that process is known as Sorting.
2. To perform the sorting, first select the menu icon and then tap on the list order button, you will be presented to the Sort Load page as shown below.


   
                                                                                                                                       
3. Now, tap and hold on the sort icon beside the consignment you wish to move and drag this up or down the list as required.
4. Additionally, you can also reverse the order of the consignments, to do simply tap on the Reverse button.
5. Once completed, tap on the Done button to save changes.

Auto Route (Route Optimisation)

This feature helps to find-out the shortest driving distance between all locations for the loaded consignments. To do the auto route, on sort load page, tap on the menu icon, Auto Route button will display as shown below.

  

2. Now, tap on the auto route button, all the consignments present in load page will be reordered according to the distance as shown below.

     

Leave Depot

1. Once you completed the above steps then tap on the Leave Depot, a confirmation popup will display as shown below. 

                                                                               
2. Now, tap on the Yes button to deliver the consignment.
3. Additionally, this screen indicates the number of consignments, the combined dead weight of these consignments and if needed you can print Runsheet also by tap on the checkbox as shown above.

Sub-consignment

This feature allows driver(s) to perform deliveries when there is no consignment data is present in the database while scanning the consignment on the load page. 

To Create a Sub-consignment

1. To create a sub-consignment, on load page either manually enter the consignment number or scan the barcode, a pop-up will display on screen as shown below.

 

2. Now, tap on Yes button as shown above and complete the steps one by one as describe below.         

All the steps are mandatory when creating a sub consignment, you cannot go to other steps if you will not finish the existing step, like if you wish to go to step 3 then make sure you completed the step 2.
If Force Customer in Subdocket toggle is disabled then step 2 i.e., select customer screen will not display and you go to directly step 3 from step 1.
To enable/disable the force customer in subdocket toggle, go to configuration > General > Global Setup, then go to Loading section and click on toggle button as shown below.

3. Once you completed all the steps (From 1 to 6), tap on the Finish button, a sub consignment will be created and reflect in the database as shown below.



All the steps from are mandatory while creating a sub consignment.
The sub consignment will automatically convert into consignment if no data is expected, and this process may take up to 48 hours after the sub consignment created. But if needed, you can convert it manually by updating the details (If needed) and then go to Admin tab and click on create consignment button as shown below.



OR you can directly go to Admin tab and click on the Create Consignment button as shown above.

Equipment Control

The equipment control works on load page if you enable the Monitor Driver Equipment toggle as shown below.

To navigate Monitor Driver Equipment toggle, navigate to Configuration > General > Global Setup, then go to Modules section.  
1. Scan the consignment barcode on the load screen. After scanning, you will automatically be redirected to the Equipment Control screen.



 2. Enter the correct equipment count manually and tap on OK. A confirmation pop-up will appear. If the entered equipment count is correct, tap on Yes, if not then tap on No and repeat the equipment count process as shown above.
3.  After confirming the equipment count, you will be redirected to the Load page.
You can see the equipment count on load page, highlighted in green color (Screen 03).
4. Now, tap on the Leave Depot, you will then be redirected to the Deliveries screen.
5. If you have unloaded any pallets, tap on Yes, and then another screen will display, here scan the uploaded pallet by tap on the barcode scanner icon or manually enter the barcode in the related column, once unloaded pallet scanned, tap on Finish.
If you do not unload any pallet then tap on No button, you will be redirected to delivery screen.

Advanced Equipment Control

This advance equipment check will work if you enable the Advanced Mobile Equipment toggle as shown below.

To navigate Advanced Mobile Equipment toggle, navigate to Configuration > General > Global Setup, then go to Modules section. 
1. Scan the consignment barcode on the load screen. After scanning, you will automatically be redirected to the Equipment Control screen.



2. Now, select the applicable equipment like Pallet, Carton etc, after selecting, you will be redirected to the load screen as shown above.
Selecting Ctn/Other is a way to tell the system there is no Equipment type present for the scanned item.
You can also see the equipment count on Load page highlighted in green color (Screen 02).
3. Now, tap on the Leave Depot, you will then be redirected to the Deliveries screen.
4. If you have unloaded any pallets, tap on Yes, and then another screen will display, here scan the uploaded pallet by tap on the barcode scanner icon or manually enter the barcode in the related column, once unloaded pallet scanned, tap on Finish.
If you wish, you can see the relevant consignment Equipment information on consignment detail screen.
