Load Planner Tasks:

Open Load Planner

  1. Access via the planning dashboard.
  2. Select the trip to organize.

Assign Consignments to Compartments

  1. View vehicle details and pallet space/weight/cubic/TEU capacity.
  2. Select compartment and view available space.
  3. Choose consignments and allocate to specific pallet spaces.

Lock and Print Load Plan

  1. Once allocation is complete, lock the plan.
  2. Print the load plan showing asset and consignment layout.

Exceptions and Overrides:

Override Pallet Space

  1. In load planner, allocate multiple consignments to one space. Used for double-stacking or small loose items.

Handle Mixed-Destination Containers

  1. System should prompt if a consignment doesn’t match the container’s trip.
  2. Allow multiple destinations in one container.

Enable Manual Overrides

  1. Operators can override prompts if needed.
  2. Record overrides for audit purposes.
