Dashboard

Summary / Purpose

Use this article to understand what the dashboard displays, configure which widgets appear, and interpret widget data.

Overview

The dashboard provides a customizable view of operational data across your TransVirtual portal.

On the Homepage, you can access the dashboard by either clicking it in the Quick Links window:

Or by navigating via the Menu ribbon: Transport > Operational Tasks > Dashboard

By default, the dashboard should look like below. To modify the widgets shown, click the widget eye icon on the upper right corner of the dashboard:

Upon clicking that icon, a window will open showing all available widgets. Those ticked with check marks are currently on display:

Drag and drop widgets to customize your UI layout.

Note: Additional widgets are being developed and may be added in the future.

Widget Descriptions

Todays Progress

Shows consignments due today, including the customer name, number of consignments due, and number of delivered consignments.

Last Deliveries

Shows recent completed deliveries including the driver who completed the delivery, where it was delivered, and when.

Last Known Locations (Today)

Displays the most recent GPS location for each driver.

Note: If needed, you can refresh the map by clicking the refresh icon ().

Transvirtual News

Displays updates from Transvirtual social media accounts. Currently shows Twitter/X only but can be expanded in the future.

Pickup Activity

Shows active pickups including date, consignment numbers, pickup locations, and consignment status.

Price Request

Gives you the ability to generate a quote similar to the Transport Quotes page.

Note: The mandatory fields for the Price Request widget are: Customer, Sending Location, and Receiving Location. Items must also include at least Qty, Description, Total Weight, and dimensions.

Agent Manifest

Shows current agent manifests with summary data. The left side shows Manifest Creation Date, Manifest Number, Agent Name, and Status. The right side shows the Manifest basic info and Summary of Goods (Quantity, Description, Weight, Cubic).

Note: On this widget you can print Labels, Connotes, and Manifests. You can also view the Manifest by clicking the appropriate button below the available actions.

Customer Manifest

Shows current customer manifests with summary data. (Pickup Required option is not available in the current tab.)

  1. You can see the basic details of the Manifest: date, Manifest Number, Customer Name, and current status (Close or Open).
  2. You can also see the Manifest info and Summary of Goods: quantity, name, weight, and cubic.
  3. You can print Labels, Connotes, and Manifests, and view the Manifest by clicking the appropriate button below the available actions.

Load Vehicle

Shows consignments assigned to each driver's load page. Clicking a Driver shows what consignments that driver has in their load page. The Unassigned section shows consignments that are currently unassigned and require load scanning and actioning.

  1. On this widget you can create a new consignment and edit a driver.
  2. To create a consignment, click Create Consignment in the upper right corner and follow the Create Consignment article.
  3. To edit drivers, click Edit Drivers and follow the Edit Driver article.
  4. To edit an existing consignment, double-click the Consignment Number and follow the Consignment Details article.

On Delivery

  1. Shows consignments assigned to each driver's delivery page. You can see the driver drop count, consignment quantity, item quantity, weight, and cubic.
  2. Selecting a driver shows consignment details on the right: Consignment Number, Customer, Receiver Name, Receiver Suburb, Quantity, Weight, Cubic, and ETA.
  1. To edit consignment details, double-click any detail on the right side to go to the Consignment Details page.

Note: Colour coding: White = not yet delivered. Green = delivered.

Expected Linehaul

Shows freight that is picked up (or pending pickup) but not yet linehaul scanned.

Due Today, Unassigned

Shows consignments due for pickup or delivery today that are not yet assigned.

  1. On this widget you can see: Customer Name, consignment quantity, item quantity, weight, and cubic.
  2. On the right side you can see total consignments due for that customer along with details: Consignment Number, due date, status, name, suburb, quantity, weight, instructions, and additional info.

Widget Settings

TransVirtual lets you update any widget title to suit your needs.

  1. To update the widget title, click the settings icon () at the top right corner of the widget.
  1. Enter the new title in the provided space:
  1. Click the orange OK button () to save the new title.

Some widgets, like Last Known Locations (Today), have a Headport setting:

Use the Headport setting to show only drivers for a particular headport. Other widgets also have additional settings — open the settings window to check what those are.

Note: The blue/white helper icons () give you an overview of what each selection is used for.

Note: Super-admins have the authorisation to update the global setting of any widget.
