Consignment Creation

Once the sales order has been completed (Sales Order creation, Warehouse Allocation, Bin Allocation and Staff Assignment), the user can choose to create a new outbound consignment or skip the consignment creation.

To see the consignment creation page, go to Warehouse > Outbound > Consignment Creations.

To Create Consignments

There are 2 ways where the user can create a new consignment as describe below.

Method 1: Consignment Creations

1. To create a consignment, go to Warehouse > Outbound > Consignment Creations, the consignment creation page will display.

2. Now there are different steps to create a consignment as describe below.

      a. Under "Carrier Allocation List" choose the applicable Order which needs to be created as a new consignment.

      b. Click on the check box against the stock items which needs to be picked per order and dispatched.

      c. Enter all the details of the stock items under Create Consignment Item Row.

Package Quantity, Weight, Dimensions and Package Descriptions are mandatory fields when creating a consignment.

      d. Once details have been filled, click on the Create Shipment Item to Create consignment, a confirmation pop-up will display as shown below. 

      e. Now, review and confirm the "Freight Items being Dispatched" section and check the consignment date and proceed to click on Create Consignment, as shown above, a new consignment created as shown below.

 Method 2: "Create Consignment" from Sales Page

1. Once the sales order is complete, the user has option to "Create Consignment" on this page, as shown below.

2. Click on Create Consignment, a new screen with Order number will display as shown below, here follow the same steps as describe in step 1. 

Skip Consignment Creation 

In WMS, there is one more provision where you can proceed with movement activity without creating a new consignment by using this option of "Skip Consignment creation"

There are 2 ways of performing this action as describe below.

Method 1: Skip Consignment Creation from Sales Order page 

1. User can proceed with Sales order movement and will be prompted to "Create consignment" if this is selected then "Skip Consignment Creation" is available to skip this process as shown below. 

2. Click on Yes, Skip, user can skip this process and proceed. 

Method 2: Skip Consignment Creation from Outbound-Consignment Creations Page

1. User can also find the skip option under the Consignment Creations page as shown below.

2. Click on Skip Consignment Creation, a confirmation pop-up to skip the consignment creation will be display, here click on Yes, Skip.
