DIFOT Reviews

DIFOT Reviews

Transvirtual allows you to report on consignments Delivered In Full On Time (DIFOT). The system calculates this by comparing the Transit Time listed on a consignment against the actual delivery date and time.

Example: If a consignment is expected to be delivered on January 10th and is delivered on or before that date, it will be marked as DIFOT.

Consignments that miss their expected delivery date are marked as NOT delivered in full on time and appear as DIFOT exceptions. You can find these consignments at Reports > Operational Tasks > DIFOT Reviews.

Use the DIFOT Reviews page to track consignment delivery times and monitor how your business is performing.

Manage exceptions

Go to the DIFOT Reviews page.

  • Left side: Lists consignments that were NOT delivered in full on time
  • Right side: Shows details of the selected consignment

Each consignment listed has a DIFOT Exception reason explaining why it was not delivered on time.

By default, the reason is "Other Issue" unless the system can determine a specific cause. For example, short deliveries may show a different reason, but most consignments will display "Other Issue."

Click any consignment in the left panel to view its full details on the right side of the page.

At the top of the details panel, use the dropdown menu to:

  • Select the appropriate Exception Type for the consignment
  • Add a DIFOT comment if needed

To confirm the exception is correct:

  • Click the Acknowledge Exception button to save your changes
  • The consignment will be removed from the list

If the exception is incorrect:

  • Click the Remove Exception button to clear it
  • The consignment will also be removed from the list

After taking action, the consignment count decreases (e.g., from 8 to 7 consignments).

At the bottom right, four tabs show more details:

  • Details: Consignment information
  • Scans: Any scans performed on the consignment
  • Status Changed: Status update history
  • Comments: Comments made against the consignment

Use this information to verify whether the exception is valid before taking action.

Repeat these steps until all consignments have been either acknowledged as legitimately delivered late, or had their exceptions removed as incorrect.
