Allocate Pickups To Drivers
This article explains how to allocate pickup jobs to drivers in Transvirtual.
Navigation: Transport > Operational Tasks > Pickup Allocation
Overview
The Pickup Allocation page allows pickup jobs to be assigned to drivers via a single-page view that displays all pickups as they are created. The page refreshes automatically to keep data current.
Assign a Job to a Driver
- Navigate to Transport > Operational Tasks > Pickup Allocation
- Click a consignment row, or select the checkbox adjacent to the row
- Review the consignment details displayed in the top-right panel
- Click the Drivers tab in the bottom-right panel
- Click the driver to assign the job
To view a driver's currently assigned jobs, click the PU/DEL icons adjacent to their name. This allows the allocation controller to monitor each driver's workload and avoid over-allocation.

Bulk Assign Pickups
Select multiple consignment rows, then assign to a driver using the Drivers tab.
Unassign a Job
If a job was assigned to the wrong driver:
- Enable the Assigned toggle and set it to YES to display assigned consignments
- Click the consignment row
- Click Unallocate in the top-right panel
Other Ways to Assign Pickups
Pickups can also be assigned outside the Pickup Allocation page:
- Manual assignment: Open the consignment, go to the History tab, and click Manual Assignment
- Auto Assignment rules: Configure conditions under which a driver or agent will automatically receive pickups that match those conditions
Why Some Drivers Don't Appear
By default, only drivers assigned to the same headport location as the selected job are displayed. For example, a pickup with a sending headport of Sydney will only show Sydney-based drivers.
