Vehicle Compartments

A compartment is a partition/division in the vehicle which helps with better management of space.

Compartments is a tab which is present in Vehicle Details page. To know more about vehicle detail, click here. This article helps you to create/edit/delete a compartment.

1. To see the compartment screen, go to Transport > Configuration and Setup > Vehicle List, on vehicle list page, click on Compartments tab, the compartment screen will display as shown below.

2. On compartments screen, you can edit/delete and add a compartment.

To Add a Compartment

1. To add a compartment, on compartment screen, click on Add Compartment button, a popup for Add a new vehicle compartment will display as shown below.

2. Now fill the details i.e., Name, Weight Capacity (kgs), Volume Capacity, Dimensions (Length/Weight and Height), Number of Pallets Spaces, Number of Pallets and Temperature (Minimum and Maximum).

Name is the mandatory field when adding a new compartment in vehicle.

3. Once you complete the step 2, click on Add button, the compartment will be added in the compartment list as shown below.

To Edit/Delete a Compartment

1. If you wish to edit any compartment detail then on compartment list, update the required detail and then click on save button to update the changes as shown below.

                                                                                                      

2. If you wish to delete any compartment, then on compartment list, click on Delete button of any of the applicable compartment, confirm dialog popup will come, here click on Yes button, the compartment will be deleted from the database.
