Setting Up Assets

You should already have vehicles and vehicle compartments configured. If not go here to see how <add link> 

Define Asset Types

  1. Navigate to the dictionary list.
  2. Create entries for each asset type (e.g., container, trailer).
  3. Ensure naming conventions are consistent.

Configure Compartment Presets

  1. Open the compartment presets page. Configuration > General > Compartment Presets and configure the high level details  
  2. Click the layout configuration button to define the layout dimensions (e.g., a trailer section/container with 1.2m x 1.2m pallet spaces).
  3. Save presets for reuse across multiple assets.

Create Assets

  1. Go to the asset list.
  2. Add new assets with detailed metadata (e.g., ID, type, capacity).
  3. Apply a compartment preset to each asset.
  4. Create compartments within the asset and assign: pallet spaces/cubic/weight/TEU/dimensions (if available).

Idea
Asset compartments and layouts will be visible to users in both the desktop and mobile app when load planning
