This article explains how to create a Run Sheet, which defines the driver, vehicle, date, and start/end locations for a delivery run before consignments are added.

View all runs by date and status
Filter runs by driver or run number
Select a run to view details on the right-hand panel
Click Add New to create a new run sheet
Add Run Sheet popup showing date, driver, vehicle, and location fields.
Click Add New
Complete the following fields:
Runsheet Number
Optional
Leave blank if auto-generated
Date
Delivery date for the run
Assign to employee/agent
Select the driver or delivery agent
Source may vary based on configuration
Assign vehicle
Select the vehicle assigned to this run
Start Location
Typically, Headport or depot
Determines where the route begins
End Location
Final location for the run
Often the same as the start location
Memo
Optional internal notes (e.g. “AM metro run”)
Click Confirm
The run sheet is created and opens in Open status.
A run sheet defines the structure of the run only. No deliveries are included until consignments are added.
Create all required run sheets before assigning consignments for faster planning.
If the wrong driver or date is selected, the run may not appear correctly in live tracking or the Driver App.

When no consignments are assigned, the run sheet displays a prompt to add them.
Run Sheet toolbar showing Add, Edit, Live Tracking, and Reoptimise options.
Open the required Run Sheet
Click Add
Enter or search for the Consignment Number
Confirm the selection
The consignment is added as a stop on the run.
Open Load Planner
Select one or more consignments
Choose Assign to Run Sheet
Select the target run
Confirm
Consignments can be added or removed at any time while the run is Open.
Add all known consignments first, then optimise the route once.
Removing consignments from an active run may affect ETA notifications and live tracking.

➡️ Route Optimisation – Run Sheets: Optimise a Run
This article explains how to optimise a run sheet to improve delivery efficiency based on distance, time, traffic, or geographic sequencing.
Reoptimise button located in the run sheet toolbar.
Open the required Run Sheet
Click Reoptimise
Select the optimisation method (if prompted)
Review the updated stop order
Save the changes
The map updates to show:
Stop sequence
Route direction
Overall delivery flow
Optimisation updates stop order only — driver, vehicle, and dates remain unchanged.
Reoptimise after:
Adding or removing consignments
Changing start or end locations
Always review optimised routes for:
Time windows
Special delivery instructions
Driver constraints
This article explains how to add and remove break times on a Run Sheet. Break times allow you to account for driver rest periods (such as lunch breaks), ensuring more accurate ETAs, run duration, and route planning.
Break time is managed within an individual Run Sheet.
Navigation path:
Transport → Route Planner → Run Sheets → Open a Run Sheet
Run Sheet toolbar showing the Add menu with the Add Break Time option.
Open the required Run Sheet
Click Add in the top-right corner
Select Add Break Time
Add Break Time popup showing break start time and break length.
Break Start Time
Enter the time the driver’s break begins
This should align with the planned run schedule
Break Length (min)
Enter the break duration in minutes
Common examples: 15, 30, or 45 minutes
Click Confirm
The break is added to the run and factored into:
Estimated total duration
Estimated end time
ETA calculations for remaining stops
Break times are treated as non-driving time and are included in overall run calculations.
Add break times before reoptimising the run to ensure ETAs remain accurate.
If a break overlaps with delivery windows, it may impact on-time performance for affected consignments.
Run Sheet showing updated estimated duration and end time after adding a break.
Once a break is added:
ETAs for subsequent stops are recalculated
Total run duration increases accordingly
Live tracking reflects the adjusted timing
Open the Run Sheet
Locate the break time entry
Click the Delete (trash) icon
Confirm deletion (if prompted)
The break is removed, and the run timings update automatically.
Deleting a break immediately recalculates ETAs and total duration.
If a driver skips a planned break, remove it to keep customer ETAs accurate.
