POD Types

OVERVIEW

Consignment POD Type Overrides are only used during consignment POD imports to remap incoming POD Type values to the POD Types recognised by the system. This is useful when POD data is imported from external systems or carriers that use different naming conventions. By setting overrides, you can ensure imported PODs are applied correctly and consistently. 

To see the Consignment POD Type List, go to Configuration > Lists and Zones, click on POD Types.


Available POD Types for Import

The following POD Types are available and can be mapped during import:




IMPORTANT

  1. Default POD Type names are hard codded into Transvirtual so cannot be edited or updated.
  2. You need to add alternative names (also known as aliases or AKA values) for each POD Type.


  3. These alternative names are used during imports to correctly map incoming POD values to the system’s standard POD Types.
