MYOB Linking

MYOB Linking

This guide shows how to refresh and re-authorise your MYOB connection in the Transvirtual portal.

Before you begin

  • You must be able to log in to the Transvirtual portal.

  • You must have your MYOB sign-in credentials.

  • You must be an Administrator in the MYOB business file you want to connect.

Step 1 — Log in to the TransVirtual portal

Sign in to your Transvirtual account as you normally would.

Step 2 — Open the Finance tab

From the top navigation menu, click Finance.

In the Configuration and Setup column, click 3rd Party Account Links.

Open your MYOB configuration. On the Account Package Info screen, click the Refresh MYOB Link button.

You will now be redirected to the MYOB sign-in page.

Step 5 — Sign in to MYOB

Enter your MYOB email address and sign in with your password (or passkey).

Step 6 — Select your business and review access

On the Connect Transvirtual to MYOB screen:

  1. Select the business (company file) you'd like to connect from the dropdown.

  2. Review the access Transvirtual is requesting (General ledger / Accounts, Sales and Purchases, Customer and Supplier contacts, Subscription details).

  3. Click Connect.

You must be an Administrator in the selected MYOB business file to authorise access.

Step 7 — You're done

MYOB redirects you back to the Transvirtual portal. On the Account Package Info screen the MYOB Link status should read Link Complete. Your MYOB AccountRight connection is now refreshed and re-authorised.

All set. No further action is needed. Your invoices and account data will continue to sync to MYOB as before.

Troubleshooting

  • The business dropdown is empty or missing: Confirm you signed in with the correct MYOB account and that you are an Administrator on that business file.

  • The link still doesn't show "Link Complete": Return to Step 4 and click Refresh MYOB Link again, then repeat the sign-in and Connect steps.
