Inventory - By Bin

Inventory by bin refers to the system of organizing and tracking inventory within a warehouse by using bins. These bins are essentially designated areas, shelves, or containers where specific products or materials are stored. Each bin has its own unique identifier, such as a number or code, so that warehouse workers can easily find, track, and manage the inventory stored there.

To see the Inventory by bin page, click on Warehouse > Inventory > Inventory – By Binthe Inventory by bin page will display as shown below.


 2On Inventory by bin page, you can see the below details:

     a. Bin Title
     b. Bin Aisle
     c. Bin Bay
     d. Bin Height
     e. Bin Position
     f. Stock Name (Title)
     g. Bin Quantity Available. 

      3. If you want to hide the empty bin, then click on the Hide Empty Bins checkbox the empty bin will not display as shown below.

      4. On Inventory by bin page, on the right side you can see the bin detail, create internal movement, change stock item, edit the stock quantity, quick move and can select the columns.

a. Bin Detail: On Bin Detail tab, you can see the Bin Title, Aisle, Bay, Height, Position, Code and Zone.

b. InProgress: This tab shows any bin is in progress. 

c. History: This tab shows the bin movement history.

d. Stock Item Info: This tab shows stock item info.

5. On Bin detail section, you can perform multiple actions on Actions section such as Quick Move of Bin, Change Stock Item and Edit the Quantity.
Quick Move: This functionality will work on simple stock movement, to do so, simply click on the Quick Move button, Edit your stock bin location pop-up will display as shown below.



Stock Item Change: If you wish to update the stock item, click on Change Stock Item button, a popup Edit stock item at this bin location, and manually enter the Stock Item, as shown below.


 Edit Quantity: If you wish to edit the quantity of the stock simply click on the Edit Quantity button, a popup Edit your bin quantity will display, as shown below.
