Equipment Types

Overview

In Transvirtual, you can set up equipment types to track against customers, agents and drivers. Examples include pallets, containers, cages, etc.

Step-By-Step Instructions

To Create/Add New Equipment Types
  1. Go to Configuration > Lists and Zones > Equipment Type. The equipment type list page will open.
  2. Click the New Equipment Type button. The Create new Equipment Item pop-up will display.
  3. Enter the Equipment Name and click Create. The new equipment item will be added to the list.
  4. Click on the new equipment type to open its detail on the right side of the screen.
  5. Update the applicable fields: Equipment Name, Short Name, and AKA. The short name is useful when displayed in the app where space is limited.
  6. Click Update to save the changes.
  7. Scroll down to the data filter section to filter and differentiate equipment types for correct application.
  8. Select the field, logic and value, then click Add Rule to save.

Notes:

  • AKA values enable charging per equipment type on consignments. Required AKA names are EquipmentType1Count, EquipmentType2Count, and so on.
  • The data filter can be set to prompt drivers for equipment counts during delivery.
To Delete an Equipment Type
  1. Click the delete icon next to the equipment item. A confirmation dialog will appear.
  2. Click Yes to confirm. The equipment item will be deleted.
