Driver Skills


OVERVIEW


This article gives you an overview of the skills available to drivers within the company.
       1. On the Driver Skill List page, you can add, edit, and delete skills from the database.
       2. To see the Driver Skill List page, go to Configuration > Lists and Zones and then click on the Driver Skills. The driver skill list page will display as shown below.

 

 

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

To Add a New Driver Skill

       1. To add a new driver skill, on Driver Skill List page, click on the New Driver Skill button, and a pop-up to Create new Driver Skill will display as shown below.

                                                              


      2. Manually enter the skill name, and then click on the Create button. The driver skill will be added to the Driver Skill list as shown below.

          

      3. To see the details of the newly added Driver Skill, click on the respective driver skill, and the details of the selected driver skill will display on the right side of the page as shown below.


 

To Edit a Driver Skill

1.  If needed, you can edit a Driver Skill. To do so, first click on the applicable driver skill from the list; the details of the selected driver skill will be displayed on the right side of the screen as shown above.

2. Now edit the details as described below:
      a.       Driver Skill Name: (If required) you can update the Driver Skill Name.
      b.      Block Mobile Device Use if Expired: Use the toggle button in Yes position to block the use of the mobile device if the driving skill has expired.
      c. Planned Load Behaviour: If you wish, you can either block or warn the driver with the help of drop and down button. 
            

Note: Driver Skill expiry date can be set through Driver Details section.

IdeaTo see the driver details page, go to Transport > Configuration and Setup > Card Files (Customer/Supplier/Staff), click on staff and go to Driver Details tab and set driver skills. 

To Delete an Existing Driver Skill

 1. To delete any existing driver skill, on the driver skill list, click on the Delete Icon. A confirmation pop-up will display as shown below.



2. Now click on Yes button, the selected Driver Skill will be deleted from the database.
