Data Management - Executive Summary

TransVirtual data management is continually reviewed to ensure that the information we collect via TransVirtual is as accurate and high quality as possible. Subsequent storage must maintain robust security and redundancy along with excellent availability and usability.

Robust Infrastructure

Infrastructure is regularly reviewed, updated and improved to ensure efficient and reliable performance as well as multiple redundancy and backup options. Our typical server structure includes:

Multiple Hosting Partners

We use a variety of cloud storage providers as well as dedicated servers across a range of functions. This ensures that our platform operates with excellent price-performance characteristics. Ongoing evaluations seek to strike a balance between high performance/low variability and reasonable pricing. This approach also provides greater scope for redundancy and recovery options should they be required. Hosting platforms include:

Distributed Storage Locations & Regions

Our main operational dedicated servers are hosted in Equinix's SY1 Sydney data centre. Storage, backup, and redundancy servers may also be hosted in other regions including:

·         Asia Pacific

·         North America

·         Europe

Multi-Level Redundancy

The level of redundancy within our infrastructure is regularly reviewed to ensure the highest availability. It includes:

·         Firewall/Load Balancers configured for failover

·         SQL Servers configured for failover within clusters

·         Distributed hosting providers across multiple regions

Near Continuous Data Protection

Regular automated data backups include:

·         Incremental database backups every 60 seconds stored in a different region

·         File system backups stored at independent Australian locations

·         Regular server instance backups available for disaster recovery
