Cubic Value Option and Its Restrictions
When enabled in Step 4: Quantity Rates of the Rate Card setup, the Cubic Value option allows the system to use the cubic value instead of the quantity value in all related calculations. This option is typically used when volume (cubic value) provides a more accurate measure for pricing than the number of items.
Restriction:
- When enabled, the system only allows up to 20m³ per line item
- Any consignment with a cubic value greater than this will not generate a quote
Override Option
If larger items need to be quoted, go to Configuration > Global Setup > Localisation then enable the Do Not Validate Dims option
By default, this option is disabled, Tv checks the UOM based on the values supplied (e.g., if dimensions suggest the entry is in cm vs. m). When enabled, Tv will skip automatic UOM validation and the entered values will be accepted exactly as supplied, allowing cubic values greater than 20 m³ to be processed.
When Do Not Validate Dims is enabled:

Warning:
Use this option with caution. Skipping validation may allow incorrect UOM entries (e.g., meters entered instead of centimeters) to pass through, which could result in miscalculations for cubic weight, pricing, or space allocation.
