Chat - Mobile App

The Chat feature on the mobile app allows staff users to send real-time messages. It supports one-on-one conversations and group chats.

Note: This feature is only available to staff users. Customers and Agents cannot use this feature.

Prerequisites

Chat must be enabled before use. Navigate to Configuration > General > Global Setup, scroll to the Chat Settings section, and click the Enable Chat toggle to Yes.

To start the Chat

  1. On the mobile app home screen, tap the Menu icon. The menu screen displays.
  1. Tap Start Chat. The messaging screen displays — tap the checkbox next to the user you want to message.
  2. Tap Start Chat again. The conversation screen for that user displays.
  3. Type your message and tap the send icon. The message is delivered.
  4. To close the chat session, tap the back icon. A confirmation pop-up displays — tap Yes to close and return to the messaging screen.

Group conversations: To message multiple users at once, tap the checkbox next to each user before tapping Start Chat.

Note: This feature is available only to staff users linked to the same account.
